Don't compromise your style because of allergies! hypoallergenic option available, necklaces will be made with cord and still adjustable by up to 2 inches! Please keep in mind cord does not last very long. It has a tendency to fray.
If you do not have an allergy metal clasp necklaces are highly recommended for longevity.
